    Frames, Film Photography App

Frames is a thoughtfully designed notebook app made specifically for film photographers. It helps you document each shot with precision and clarity, from shutter speed and aperture to film stock and location. Whether you’re shooting a 36-exposure roll or experimenting with medium format, Frames gives you the space to capture the technical and creative context behind every frame. You can record camera, lens, and gear details, write personal notes, and organize your rolls by date or project. What makes Frames unique is its deep focus on analog photography. It doesn’t try to be a photo editor or camera app. Instead, it works as a quiet companion that respects your workflow. After developing your film and receiving your scans, you can easily match images to your notes. Frames helps you reattach context and metadata to each image so nothing is lost in the transition from film to digital. Designed to be clean and distraction-free, Frames offers smart autofill, over 200 built-in film stocks, map views for geotagging, and flexible export options. Whether you're a casual hobbyist or a meticulous archivist, Frames adapts to the way you shoot and helps you build a personal archive of your photography over time. It’s available on iOS and macOS, with seamless syncing. Frames is a tool built for those who still find value in slowing down, taking the shot, and remembering why.
